Young people represent the future of Baringo North. By supporting entrepreneurship and creating employment opportunities, communities can reduce unemployment, discourage crime and banditry, and build sustainable local economies. The Foundation has invested in youth-led enterprises that create jobs and promote self-reliance.

Through TOKEIÂ FOUNDATION, Youth groups in Kabartonjo Ward received modern car wash machines, enabling them to establish income-generating businesses while providing alternatives to insecurity and banditry.
To strengthen existing businesses, through The Foundation, barber shop operators received professional shaving machines, helping improve service quality and increase earnings. In addition, shades were constructed for shoe shiners operating in Kabartonjo Ward, providing dignified working spaces protected from harsh weather while creating more welcoming environments for customers.

TOKEI Foundation is a community-centred non-profit organization in Kenya dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities and creating sustainable pathways to social and economic development. Through education, women and youth empowerment, peace-building, environmental conservation, and sustainable livelihood initiatives, we work alongside communities to identify local challenges, develop practical solutions, strengthen resilience, and create opportunities for lasting change.
