Tokei na Elimu is an initiative that has supported schools in Baringo north as a whole.
The foundation has been in the for front in ensuring no child misses school. The foundation quarterly has supported schools by providing
Distribution of exercise books in Baringo North, which is an on going initiative in support of education.
This programme is done throughout the year to all primary schools in Baringo North and take it further as we grow to scale country wide.
Distribution of school uniforms to three schools Kasesya primary, Kabartonjo special school and Bartabwa primany school respectively.
Distributing school uniforms goes far beyond providing clothing; it removes financial barriers, drastically reduces absenteeism, and creates a level playing field. By eliminating visible socioeconomic differences, this distribution fosters equality, builds a sense of belonging, and allows students to focus entirely on their education.
Saving Lives: How Tokei Foundation is Protecting Pupils from Crocodile Attacks.
In many rural communities, the simple act of fetching water can become a matter of life and death. For years, pupils at lake kapnarok primary had to walk to the lake kapnarok daily to fetch water for drinking, cooking, and cleaning. That lake was also home to crocodiles.
Too many children were being bitten and injured while trying to get water for school. Fear kept some pupils at home, and learning was constantly interrupted.
Instead of asking children to risk their lives, the foundation launched a water piping project to bring safe water straight from the lake source to the school compound.
