Preventing Flood Damage at Kiptilingon River
During heavy rains, the Kiptilingon River frequently burst its banks, flooding nearby homes and farmland. TOKEI FOUNDATION facilitated the construction of culverts that has helped regulate water flow, reducing flooding risks and protecting families, property, and agricultural livelihoods.

TOKEI Foundation is a community-centred non-profit organization in Kenya dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities and creating sustainable pathways to social and economic development. Through education, women and youth empowerment, peace-building, environmental conservation, and sustainable livelihood initiatives, we work alongside communities to identify local challenges, develop practical solutions, strengthen resilience, and create opportunities for lasting change.
